Rinoa leaned against the wall dropping slowly until she was sitting against the cold stone. Yuda was gone now and unable to guide her from this labyrinth. A miscounting in her stride had left her utterly lost in her first solo walk without Yuda's all seeing eyes. She had attempted to reach the potions class but had been unsuccessful and now had nowhere to go, no path to lead her back.
But it was not the fact that she was lost that truly terrified her. It was that the sound she had heard only a few times before had returned. It was not like the sound of a scream, yet not a roar or growl, but more something in between. The carrier of the sound drifted toward her and she heard the sound of claws and scales approaching her. The beast leaped toward her, she knew this simply by the sound its claws made against the stone. Rinoa braced herself for the attack, but it never came.
Something else, just as big, crashed into her attacker and the two fought. The sound of a horse trumpeting sounded, echoing off the passageways until it faded into nothing. The horse pressed its muzzle into her chest and joined the battle. Flames were spread, flesh and scales torn, stones ripped from the walls and crushed by the fighting bodies until they were nothing but dust. Rinoa sat terrified fearing another beast stood in the shadows waiting for her to flee.
After a long wile the horse and the first of the beasts were silent. the victor drew closer to her breathing his hot panting breath over her. He gripped her throat with a massive hand covered with coarse fur until the already dark world faded.

Yuna wandered this hall knowing she was lost but did not have the ability to care. Rahel bounded at her side drinking in the scents of this passageway. the both of them stopped instantly stunned by what they saw. The body of a dragon, brown as the earth, lying in the rubble of what looked Iike a battle. The rubble had been crushed into dust and paw prints and hoofmarks could be seen.
Rahel stopped to drink in the scents again a pleasure his mistress never had. He could pick up the scents of a forest he had visited only a few times near the edge of the school. He could also taste the sent of a forest dog and steed. He hissed a message to his mistress before following their sent trail back home.
Yuna knew Rahel's language well and recognized the snake-like hiss that meant Slitherin and a low growl that meant Griffindor, weather or not it made sense. She followed Rahel as he lead her out of the dungeons where she planned to wait until she found the care of magical creatures professor, or Nelle. Her only friend wasn't the problem, she knew that, but sh wanted to have someone who could help her. Someone she already knew and trusted.

Diem was disturbed from her home work in her common room as the sounds of snarls and crashing boomed through the corridors. She poked her head out of the door to find the surroundings as silent as the night. She waited a while, hoping to catch a sound, but couldn't hear anything out of the ordinary. There was the already familiar sound of the Bloody Baron and the usual creaks of an old building. Diem's brilliant green eyes darted across the hall, suddenly becoming aware of all the cracks in the stones and blemishes in the architecture. Reassuring herself that everything was fine, Diem slipped back into her common room to finish the oh so tedious home work the professors assigned her.

Evenon heaved the iron doors of the dungeon open and waited for Wendy to come in after her. She slowly walked into the corridors, not wanting to continue without Wendy close behind. She didn't know what she'd find, and when Yuna said that there was a scent of Slytherin detected by her cat, it could have been from the common room or a Slytherin student, but it could have also been some dark wizard.

Wendy was thinking the same thing as Professor Lakris, although she didn't know it. When the Ravenclaw mentioned the scent of a Slytherin, Wendy immediately thought of Death Eaters. Wendy pulled her wand out and held it firmly. The cold of the Dungeons was never a welcoming feeling and she creeped closer the the Headmistress. Wendy had no idea where the she was being led, but hoped that Mrs. Lakris knew where she was leading her.

Evenon rounded the corner, and she saw a brown dragon sprawled out on the stone floor. She gasped, Yuna had told her about the dragon. Evenon pulled out her wand.
"Lumos!" she whispered, and her wand let out a small glow. She walked down a long corridor, and rounded one last corner. "Miss Cresent!" she shouted, even louder than her squeel in the Great Hall. The Gryffindor girl was up against the wall, apparently being held there. She then noticed the large black figure that loomed over her. No...

Yuna kept close behind but kept to the shadows with trained silence. Nothing would be able to see her as she snook behind them enjoying the thrill of the mystery pleased to be able to help, but not wanting to back down simply 'for her safety.' Little things like that had never stopped her from stepping out of line regardless of the harsh punishments, but for once it was worth it.

Inri was sitting peacefully in her usual position in the armchair in the corner of the common room by the fireplace. She had been reading, well atleast trying to read. Diem sat on the other side of the common room, frustrated with large amounts of homework. There were such noises outside, some that would have been expected to be made by a monster. When she saw Diem look outside of the common room, she peered at her through the corner of her eye. She got up silently and walked to the stone wall next to Diem, without even the sound of footsteps, and didn't notice the suprise in Diems face when it looked as if she just appeared there. But, of course, she couldn't have "just appeared."
Inri pressed her ear against the cold stone, and listened. She heard footsteps, and a yell from a woman. She compared that yell to every voice she had memorized in the castle; it was the Headmistress's.
Inri slipped between Diem and the edge of the doorway, and looked out to the corridor. She saw a large dragon on the cold ground, obviously either unconcious or dead. She looked at the two women, both had their wands out. The first one was Professor Lakris, and the other was that bloody auror, always coming back to haunt her. Inri sighed, and looked over to where they were staring. She saw that one Gryffindor girl, was her name Rinoa? against the wall, in the clutches of a giant being. It had hair all over, and was very large.
"Werewolf?" she whispered to herself. Atleast that's what she thought it was. The pictures in her books could vary next to the real thing. She backed up slowly against the wall by the common room door, and planted her hand in her wand pocket.

Leea noticed Evenon and the Auror Wendy Errow run off to the dungeons. She followed wondering what the commotion was all about. Evenon had yelled out the Griffindor's name before she had entered the dungeons. She followed them to the dungeons where she noticed a creature with a Griffindor coming toward her. She moved quickly out of the way with her wand in her hand. She didn't cast a spell with fear of hitting the girl. She followed the creature as it headed out of the castle. Leea stooped at the front door and headed back to the dungeons to figure out exactly what happened. Leea noticed a Ravenclaw hiding in the shadows in the dungeons not to far from the commotion.
"Ms. Yuna Kisaragi, Can you tell me exactly what you saw here?" She asked in a calm sweet voice.

Wendy stared with wide eyes at the monstrosity that was a dragon laying motionless on the floor. Wendy whispered to her wand, "Lumos!" She saw a Slytherin girl come out of her common room. "Get back in, you fool!" she whispered in a raspy voice to the girl, not even bothering to look at her.
The Auror followed the Headmistress as she wounded through the mazes of the dungeons. She jumped when the Headmistress shrieked. Wendy wanted it quiet. You can't catch something if you're loud. But then she saw what was so frighteningly scary. There was a hairy beast who had a student in his arms. Wendy was about to cast a spell on it, but it moved so fast and she was afraid she'd hit the student. Wendy was shivering underneath her black robes. She looked up at the Headmistress who had a terrified and stunned look on her face. Wendy moved closer to her and whispered in her ear, "I want none of the students to know about this and I want all of the teachers informed."
