Leea took the owl. She pointed her wand at its wing and carefully held the creature still as a silver light came from the tip of the wand. When she was done she let the owl go. As it flew off down the hall she looked back at the search party.
"We should leave now if we are to make it before the sun rises." She stated then started down the hallway.

Wendy turned and followed the other professor. They walked stealthily though the winding hallways. The only sounds to be heard were the taps of shoes on the cold floor and the increasingly faster breathing of all the hunters. Out the front door they went, and out onto the grounds. The air was brisk and the moon was large. Like a silver ball got launched into the sky by some kid with a good kick. Wendy's thoughts were interrupted by red sparks flying into the air. "That's them!"

Evenon followed Leea and Wendy, running a little slower to make sure that Miss Tunila was keeping up with them, because she didn't want to loose her when they got outside. The corridors seemed darker than she had come to know them, and she couldn't keep her mind of the Gryffindor girl that the creature had taken. The hunt made the world seem a step closer to gloomy. Al she could think about was that hairy being, with it's long thick arms trapping the girl against the wall, and how it bounded off with her in hand. They entered the entrance hall and out the big doors to the grounds. Evenon saw the red sparks in the air, and heard Wendy's exclamation. That was good, right? We knew they were safe, but they - whoever they mean - were in trouble.
