Emilia batted away Anria's hands trying to help her get up. Not that she didn't appreciate the help, but she was perfectly capable of sitting up by herself. If one didn't know it already, Emilia had quite a stubborn streak in her that took over in situations like these. She liked to prove that she was perfectly alright, even when she wasn't. Ignoring the burning her chest from the after effects of near drowning she addressed Anria's obnoxious comment, "No, I didn't hit my head. I just nearly drowned instead. Now stop hovering over me I'm perfectly fine...now. I think I swallowed the whole lake though. I'm surprised I didn't cough up some sea weed or something. Yuckkkk." She chuckled at Anria, and ruffled her hair, a sign of affection to let Anria know she wasn't upset with her.
Hearing Dylan speak once again, Emilia couldn't help but to laugh at his comments. If he only knew how many near death experiences she has had within her short life, it would be enough to give him a heart attack. She found her laughter turn into groans, it didn't help the burning in her chest or throat to laugh. Scrunching up her face, "Ugh, note to self, don't laugh after nearly drowning...it hurts like hell! Please don't make me laugh anymore." She grinned looking up at Dylan. Of course he would have no idea why she was laughing hysterically at his comments. She was sure not only did she look like a drowned rat, but now she looked like she was crazy. Awesome, this day just keeps getting better and better...
Ruffling her hair to attempt to dry it out, she sighed, "Dylan, please don't think I'm a nutter or anything, but to answer your question, yes this does happen to me a lot. Normally though I'm not the one trying to kill me." She gave him a dazzling smile hoping to take the edge of her last comment, she didn't want to have to explain herself to him. It was a little too soon to be opening up to some one new about her previous battles with Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Perhaps down the road if they became good friends she would explain herself, just not now. Once Dylan made the comment about his t-shirt that was tightly gripped in her hands she instantly gushed, "Oh! I don't need this! I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking. Here, take it back. I'm fine, really. You should have this, you are the one after all without a shirt on."

It was a lovely day out, well considering Alaya had been sleeping for the good portion of the past two days even a rainy day would seem nice. For the past few months she had very few hours of sleep under her belt and since she had fallen asleep in her class for the tenth time in a row she was told to take the day off to rest up, that was the other day. She knew she had a lot of work to do but it could wait. Alaya really needed to get outside a stretch for a bit.
She walked bare footed on the grounds with her school skirt uniform and a short sleeved shirt. It was slightly cool from the storms but not that bad and the air was refreshing and welcomed. Strange how one could miss such simple pleasures. Alaya had the tendency to isolate herself now a days and she almost never spent time with her friends and classmates. It was sad but she did have a lot going on in her mind. Alaya walked up to the lake and let the cool water lap over her ankles. Not far off she noticed some commotion.
Walking closer to the sound she noticed it was Emilia who had just fallen into the lake and was helped by some boy who she did not recognize. Alaya smiled shaking her head as she approached the small group. "Fall again Emilia?" She teased nodding to Anria. Her cold gaze rested upon the boy. She wasn't angry at him or anything, truthfully she was tankful but first impressions was not her strong suite. It was the reasons she did not get along with too many of her classmates.

[white]Anria was slightly offended by Emilia batting away her helping hands. However, she understood. Anria was all for the independence and superior rights of woman kind. She was taken aback by Emilia's response to her question. Anria grimaced; she didn't feel like being scolded. She was just trying to help. She then felt Emilia ruffle her hair in what was interpreted as an affectionate way. "I may be younger than you, but I'm not your little sister. My maturity level brings me up to your age" This was what Anria wanted to say to her. Instead, what came out was, "All right. Geez. i'm sorry! I was just trying to see if you were in danger of having a concussion. Excuse me for being worried."
Then, Emilia and Dylan talked among each other. It seemed that they had forgotten she was there in that time. Anria sighed. "There she goes again. Unintentionally flirting with a person of the male species." She then rolled her eyes and snorted. "Emilia and near death experiences are practically tied at the hip." Once Emilia offered Dylan back his shirt, Anria prayed for him to take it. Her heart couldn't take such fast beating much longer without being noticed in the outside world. It wasn't that she hadn't seen shirtless guys before. She had; they were all her brothers.
She was able to calm down a notch when Alaya turned up. At least now she wouldn't feel like the third wheel. She half waved towards Alaya in response to her nod. Anria chuckled when Alaya asked for confirmation of another of Emilia's clumsy moments. "You missed it, Alaya. It was a great show. The river exchanged Emilia with a shaggy dog who looks a lot like her but has haystack hair." Anria tried to redeem herself and try to be more like herself now that the boy had the option to put his shirt back on. And, who wouldn't after jumping into cold water and coming back out into yet more cool weather? Anria hoped that he would not refuse putting his shirt back on.[/white]
