Anria breathed in deeply yet quietly. She was in her lemur form, ring-tailed to be exact. She hid at the very top shelf of one of the last bookcases in the Library hoping to scare some first year slytherins or a couple trying to sneak in a make-out session or two. After her first year at Hogwarts, she had gotten more confident about herself. This was partly due to the fact that she actually had female friends instead of hanging around with her brothers all the time, and the other half is due to the fact that she actually found people whom she could hold conversation with. She started to remember some of the pranks she and her brothers pulled on their neighbor Mr.Robitussin. She started to crack up, forgetting she was not in a human body. Screeches left her mouth as she started to laugh. However, she quickly recovered to not let herself become known to the rest of the people in there. She hoped no one had heard her. She loved the library, don't get her wrong. She had the highest respect for a place of quiet learning. But, she could not let a good pranking spot be passed up. That place in the library had been passed down in the Spirwa family ever since her eldest brother (now 27) had found it his first year. Of course, all of the Spirwa's before her had had to hide behind the bookcase while she can hide in it. She stopped her train of thought as she heard footsteps approaching. She sneaked her tail close to her form and crouched into a springing position.

Escape, silence, peace were the only thoughts running through the troubled girl's head. She felt like a first year all over again getting used to her surroundings It was strange and nothing felt right anymore. She was the loner again and she hated herself for it but what could she do? She couldn't change what she was becoming and she couldn't tell anyone either, that is she did not want to involve anyone else in her petty problems. Considering there were bigger things to worry about than a simple problem of lost identity, she did not want anyone to worry or get hurt.
Silently her feet guided her into the library where the smells of old books and ink surrounded her and there was only the sound of pages turning and the occasional spoken word here and there. It was a great place to go when the need for escape was great. Alaya looked around feeling slightly out of place since she was not in her full uniform. She had the cloak but all she had under it was a black tank and skirt, not even the school uniform skirt. She was not wearing the hat so her hair flowed freely in waves to just passed her shoulders. It had not taken long for her hair to start to grow back since she last cut it. But she liked the new length to her dark brown waves that highlighted her light tan skin. Her forest eyes darted around the room trying to find a safe and empty nook where she could hide for a moment.
Her eyes found a spot next to a bookshelf in the back away from the others in the library. As she walked closer to the spot she could feel a shooting pain in her head. She was getting used to them but at times like this one they were not very tolerable. She rested on the edge of the bookshelf furthest away from any students trying to block her senses to get the headache to go away. Little did Alaya know that if she didn't have her senses blocked she would have noticed the lemur ready to make her move.
