Magnus arrived outside last for he was at the end of the line. He stopped just outside the door to take everything in. He wanted to make sure that he knew about everything. After scanning the whole battle field, he was confident that he got the main idea: All the kids, save the werewolf girl, were fighting together against the changeling and the werewolf kid. Oh but wait, there was a group standing and yelling at each other. It almost seemed as if everyone was congregating toward that little patch of grass.
Magnus sprinted down and finally realized what was so damn interesting. There was body on the ground graciously covered with a Slytherin robe and a white rose. There was only one reason why that would happen: the student was only a dead, lifeless body now. Gus closed his eyes and cursed himself. This is exactly what you were supposed to prevent. This kid is dead now, and your still have your pathetic half-ass life.
Magnus spoke to the whole group of children congregated around the body, "Everyone go back to the battle! There's nothing left to do here!" Magnus bent down to examine the body. He lifted the Slytherin robe off of her and studied her face. He recognized her as Diem Day. Magnus shook his head slowly and replaced the robe. He scooped up the corpse and carried it in his arms back up to the castle while yelling behind him, "Leaun, I'll be back momentarily!"
Gus opened the door with his foot and carried what was left of Diem Day into the Great Hall and placed her softly on the Slytherin table. Magnus sat down on the Slytherin bench and whispered, "I am so sorry. I should be dead, not you. Not you." Gus stayed for a minute more, staring at the floor in deep thought.
"Well, I have to go before another student joins you in the Under Wold, Ms. Day." he said with a new light to his voice. This tragic incident just motivated him even more to do his best to fight and protect.
Magnus ran back down to the Grounds. He would let Leaun cast her spells, but he would cast the one spell he could do perfectly, when the time came of course. Gus saw that the changeling was now a thestral. Not the smartest idea considering half of us just saw someone die.
Magnus had seen death more than a couple times. His parents were dark wizards, there was no way he could have avoided it. Gus gave the thestral his undivided attention, watching it's every move. He would cast his spell when the time came.

Alaya watched the fight continue without her. She watched the professor take Diem's body away. She struggled to her feet opening up her wound again. Her vision was blurred and she was light headed but she still wanted to fight. Slasher came behind her carrying her cloak that fell when she transformed. Her wand was still in the pocket and she was thankful that Slasher found it. Using Slasher as a support so she wouldn't fall she held her wand in her shaking hand and pointed at the changeling. She would help her friends no matter what.

Leea was relieved to see Magnus arrive at the battle scene. She continued to watched the changeling and the students. All were trying their best to fight off the threat. She noticed a griffin at the corner of her eye. Alaya was leaning against it. She will die of blood loss if she keeps this up.
Leea walked closer to the professor with her eyes on the enemy. "I need your help to stop Ms. Tiaun from fighting. She is good with the wand and fighting magical creatures but with that wound she barely can stay on her feet." She said. "Unless of course you know how to fight a changeling then I will go to her." She casted her spell at the changeling but missed as the creature moved quickly out of the way.
"Everyone stay close to at least one other until the changeling is defeated." She said over the sound of the battle. "Where the hell are the other professors. We need more help." She whispered under he breath so only Magnus could hear. The battle would never end at this rate.

The great thestral saw as the other professor came to join them. Her eyes glowed brighter red for a moment as she changed to a heavy tiger and charged roaring.
"You!"she snarled as her powerful paws hit his shoulders heavily forcing him to the ground and pinning him there. "Never go near her again. See this as your warning or you shall see Diem in her own realm."
With this said she left him hoping her words could go through to him and went to the Ravenclaw boy Alaya failed to bring down. With another strong leap like what she had done to the professor he too was pushed downward and her claws slashed across his face. He would lie still for a long wile.

Emilia felt her hands clench into a fist as Inri's comments echoed in her ears before she was turned to stone. She felt rage once again surge through her veins. It almost scared her how she was feeling right now for the first time ever she felt the urge to kill felt the urge to torture. She would love nothing more than just to kill Inri here and now, but she restrained herself. She then shook her head to clear out these emotions for she knew they were not healthy nor would they could her anywhere at this point in time.
As she felt her hands relax she heard someone approaching her and looked over to see Enki, the same look of rage upon her face. As she asked who did this Emilia could detect the same hatred and rage that she herself was feeling. She pointed with her wand at Inri and said in a cold voice, "She did it, Miss Inri Tunila ended Diem's life." She then spoke again in a kinder voice, "There is no point in going after her now you know, we need to focus on the changeling and then we can get our revenge upon her."
Through all the commotion she then saw Professor Weller run up to the group and shouted something about continue fighting, that there was nothing to see here and watched tearfully as he carried Diem's body away. She just shook her head sadly, and glanced around her, her aqua marine eyes surveying the situation. Alaya was off to the side badly injured, She needs help, and most importantly protection, she then noticed how irratically Xian was acting and simply shook her head, He's going to lose his head and get seriously hurt if he's not careful, Anria was holding her own, and then she looked frantically around for Spee but couldn't find it. It made her heart sink and she almost called out for him, but knew that would be the worst thing she could do, it would show Agrona her feelings for him and possibly endanger him. She instead silently hoped he was ok.
Then of course she heard Yuna scream again, this time it was directed towards Professor Weller, what could have he possibly done to her. She then watched in horror as she bounded off towards him as he returned to the scene. He fell with a great thud of course and she tried to think of a spell to send at Yuna that could possibly hurt her. As Yuna charged again in her tiger form she heard herself yelling, "No!!!" unconscniously as Yuna went to attack Xian leaving his face a bloody mess, she then shouted, pointing her wand at the tigers chest, "Petrificus Totalus!"

[black]Anria rolled her eyes. Xian was great, but he was sometimes too protective. She smiled when he finally let her have some fun. She then heard the scream and saw the same thing Xian saw. She didn't know who it was until Xian and his rage took her toward he commotion. She never liked Diem, she was her first annoyance. Still she felt like she didn't deserve to die. A tear escaped Anria's eyes, but nothing else. She never knew the slytherin much, but knew that she held a close place to her heart since she was the first annoyance she ever had. That was all the salt water that escaped from her eyes toward Diem Day. Instead she kept a grim face.
She watched Professor Weller take her away, and come back. She watched with horror as he was attacked. Then, as she was too distracted in watching Alaya change, Xian was attacked. She froze. It was horrible to look how he suffered, but she couldn't look away. Tears started escaping her eyes. He didn't even scream, always so brave. She screamed at Agrona, not knowing what else to do. "Stop! Stop! What's wrong with you?! You Ugly Terrifying Being, why are you doing this?!?!" Her mind was blank and all she could do was scream at the changeling. The salt water drops were falling from her face like crazy.
She was at first surpirsed when she heard Emilia scream. Then she felt gratitude, as the spell hit the changeling straight in the chest, or at least it looked like it. With all the emotions, Anria didn't know what to do. She went toward where Xian was laying down and between sobs looked at his face. His eyes were closed and he had a straight line for lips. This was exactly what she was trying to avoid. This was exactly why she didn't want him here.
She then yelled toward Emilia and the other Professor, "He is unconcious. I'll take him to the Hospital Wing." With that she pointed her wand at him and said, between sobs and more tears, "Mobilicorpus" This spell always came in handy when her little brother fell asleep anywhere besides in his room, it was able to lift unconcious bodies. Anria never thought she would need it for this. On her way inside the castle, she stopped infront of Emilia and in a voice full of malice said "Emilia, hurt her. Hurt Yuna badly." After that she was gone, crying, carrying Xian's unconcious body to the hospital wing.[/black]

Agrona looked towards the screaming voices that were spells being thrown at her. Fools. There was only one spell that could work against her kind with her already in a changed form. The rest were useless. Only when her body changed as the profesor of magical creatures tried to tell them, did any other spells take effect. The spell struck and threw her backwards with impact but the effects were nothing more. But then there was another voice, begging for her to stop, begging for justification of this bloody battle.
"Know this now. I have no choice except to do what I do. I cannot nor will not trust you with the information of what i do, only one person is for that. But all this is a part of my destiny laid before me by lord Oberon himself from the day of my birth. there is no turning back for me."

Dante dropped onto his knee as the invisible sword repeatedly slashed his skin. He did not yell out, though, for that would only give Inri the satisfaction she wanted. Dante knew what game she was playing, and he knew how to ruin it all for her. Diem, on the other hand, was getting played like a card. She didn't know how to control her actions, and without Dante's help, he knew she could get seriously hurt by Inri.
Dante took a deep breath and dared to move his bleeding arm to point his wand at his body. He cringed slightly but gritted his teeth and took it. "Finite," he managed to spit out. Almost instantly, the invisible sword ceased its slashing. Dante continued to kneel on the ground, recovering from the pain. He was about to cast another spell on himself to take care of the wounds now gushing blood, when he heard Diem sob his name.
To his surprise, he forced himself to stand up despite the pain and the blood seeping into his robes. His shaking body managed to look over to where Diem was sprawled out on the ground and contorting madly. However much pain she was in, Dante still found it in himself to hate her with all his might. She was always getting him into sticky situations that ended in him having to save her.
Dante took his time lifting his wand and pointing it at Diem. It was her fault she got into this mess, he would let her learn from her actions before he jumped in to rescue her. Just then the spell stopped because Inri got distracted by a certain someone he wished to never see again in his life. Silverstien.
Dante started taking painful steps toward his friend so that he could help her up, only to hear the two most deadly words in the entire Wizarding World. His head shot up to see who would be the unexpecting victim of Inri's curse. He half-hoped that she would be aiming her wand at Silverstien, but found that it was not pointed at her. But it was pointed at the one girl he wished to save. Inri was going to kill Diem.
Dante just stared in horror as Diem's body fell still. His wand dropped out of his hand, and he once again fell onto his knees. Suddenly all the pain that he was so recently feeling seemed to numb over. All he could think about was that his Diem was gone. She was gone, and there was nothing he could do about it. He suddenly regretted how he pried her off of him only a minute earlier.
His lungs seemed to have forgotten how to breath, all his mind was focusing on was how he didn't save her. You shouldn't have waited. You should have just gotten in there and saved her. She wouldn't have died if you had just saved her.
Dante started choking and he sucked in a deep breath of cold night air. He wasn't taking in anything that was going on around him, all he could do was stare at the girl he loved. He didn't notice the commotion going on around him and all the protests over Diem's death. He didn't notice Inri being turned to stone, he was too busy grieving his friend, his best friend.
Only did Dante look up when she was taken by Magnus Weller. He choked back the sobs wanting so bad to come out. Only would he let the tears roll down his cheeks, and his bottom lip quiver. All Dante could do was sit there, in the middle of the battle field, while everyone else fought around him.
After regaining his composure, Dante stood up and started limping toward the castle. All he wanted to do was be with Diem. He passed by Magnus without even noticing him and pushed the door open. He waltzed into the Great Hall, pulled off the robe covering the corpse, and threw his body over Diem's. He just laid there, sobbing that he was sorry into Diem's black hair.

Post by Isabella Marie Turner on Jun 13, 2008 8:54:08 GMT -8
Isabella had been studying her orders from the Ministry of Magic and composing a report at the Three Broomsticks the night the battle began at Hogwarts. After she finally composed her report and sent it off to the Ministry, she took one last sip of her butterbeer and took off towards her favorite castle. As she glided through the streets of Hogsmeade with her hood up covering her head, she began to hear odd sounds as she reached the outskirts of the castle. She then distinctly heard a scream of terror which caused her to shoot off towards the towers.
As she reached the tower it was in time to see a giant dragon chasing after the Silverstien girl. That poor girl just cannot seem to keep herself out of trouble, and she shook her head in amazement for the horrible luck this girl had. She then watched in her dark hiding spot of the grounds, as the dragon then changed shaped into what looked like some sort of bull. It then hit her that this beast was a changeling, which was quite a shock for her, since she thought these beasts have been wiped out years ago. How curious, well this is just going to be an interesting night...
She then continued to watch the seen unfold before her eyes, she saw how the door was now being charged at, and finally broken through, and a gryffin flying above her head, continuing circling the school. She then saw the changeling file out of the school along with a werewolf that she knew had to be the Tiaun, for she was the only known werewolf in the school. She just stayed within the shadows and watched the carnage that was playing out in front of her.
It was about this time where she began to feel helpless for how could she help this school? She was suppose to be a Death Eater, and Death Eater's certainly do not go around saving lives, they just simply let the battle play out and plot how it will affect them. Yet the Auror that was inside of her knew that she had to help, it was her duty to help out this school. She just did not know it was possible, she couldn't blow her cover, it would risk her life and the life of many others. She groaned in frustration and took out her wand where she twirled in her hand idly, continually thinking of a way she would help it. She resigned herself to the fact that she would just have to wait out the battle, and only come in if she was direly needed, for she had to secure her cover. She couldn't risk blowing it, over a little skirmish upon the grounds.
Isabella then was distracted by the group of students that formed a few feet in front of her. She watched curiously as they bickered with each other about the silliest things, and then she saw young Dante Black come from the depths of the forest and stand beside some girl she's seen once or twice, whom she believed her name was Day. As she watched the fight grow heated she felt her hand tighten around her wand, she wanted to stop this fight, but she knew she couldn't for it would certainly blow her cover for they were all Death Eater's which meant they indeed know who she was. She groaned in anger, she wanted to help out so badly. She was then stunned to see the bright green light come from Inri's wand and hit Day who was now laying on the ground. The poor girl was dead. She shook her head sadly knowing it had to be done, and realized now why the Dark Lord was so interested in Inri.
It was then after this occurred that she finally saw a Professor come into the picture. She was thankful for now maybe the school stood a chance without her help, but quickly noticed that only one Professor came with no one following after her. She groaned once again, for now it was apparent that she would indeed have to help out. She watched seen, saw Inri fall, and the fiasco about the death of a student. She stayed quiet, and then her heart about fell out of her chest when Mangnus came into the picture for she knew what a horrible wizard he was, he shouldn't be out here, he couldn't cast a spell to save his life.
Her eyes narrowed as the beast started talking, she noted the malice in its voice, and felt contempt for this creature, for she knew the only way to destroy it was to hit it when it was changing. She was ready to enter the fight by now, and was ready to protect the school she cared so much about. Her heart immediately dropped out of her chest when she saw the creature bound for Magnus and push him to the ground with a great thud, That's it! I'm going to have to destroy you myself you bloody animal!
She jumped out of the shadows and screamed, "Protego Totalum!" Her powerful spell threw back the beast again since the Silverstien girl casted a strong spell that knocked down the animal first. She looked around and spoke directly to the Professor, "I'm Isabella, I don't know if Lakris had told you about me, but I'm here to help you, I'll explain later if you do not know who I am. We need to get this beast to change into as many creatures as we can, it' our only hope to hit her when she is changing. We need to infuriate her into changing creatures, and send as many spells as we see her change, any should do. Just for god's sake do not let anyone else be killed! When this is all over I need to modify Inri's memories as well, so keep her near at all times and do not lift the spell upon her." She made sure that she did not look at Magnus for she couldn't show her weakness for him now, that would just be improper. She then yelled, "You! Changeling! What in the bloody hell do you think you're doing trying to destroy this school!? You belong in hell, where you came from!"

Agrona looked as someone else came to join them. She hit her with a spell knocking her backwards as the other did and hurt her no more. She shouted at her, yelling things that would normaly cause her to roar and attack. But unlike the others she couldn’t simply roar and throw herself at her claws and teeth bared. With amazing speed her stripes disappeared and her wings came from her back once more. Her feline body became human shaped, yet covered with thin protective scales all red as her eyes. She had become a gargoyle once more. This was Agrona’s favored form being the first she learned and the easiest to master being one of the most similar to human form and that it was the first she had ever learned.
She walked to the newcomer slowly showing emotions in her eyes other than the thrill of the fight and the joy of the hunt and the suffering her life held. This new girl seemed too familiar. Her hair was black and brown streaked with blond. This she did not find strange nor any familiar than the rest of her. But her eyes told different. They were a violet shade she knew all to well, even if she had never seen them for herself.
As Agrona approached the girl her eyes fogged from within, shielding any color they could hold for an instant as the iris changed. The process had been seen by mortal eyes only a few times changing the changeling iris to a spectrum of colors. This time when the fog passed what was revealed was a violet shade no different than hers.
“NO.” She said almost whispering at first, but her voice became almost traced with fear as she continued to speak. “Not now, not here. Oberon said nothing of this. You shouldn’t have come here! Go back to your family and get away from here!”
But she made no movement to leave. Then, with a growl in frustration, Agrona raised her powerful wings and dropped them with enough force to lift her. Again she changed her form, but her wings and upper half of her body remained human as the rest became a black mare. And then the winged centaur raced towards the forbidden forest and when she was far enough away she took to the sky to prevent any tracks. And then, when she was too far away to hear their voices with their sensitive ears she became a being so small that she could no longer be seen.
